Shipping policy

At Rackit Direct in Irvine, Scotland, we pride ourselves on keeping our costs low and providing transparent pricing. Unlike other websites, we offer FREE DELIVERY on all of our products with a typical delivery time of 3 to 5 working days for standard equipment within the UK mainland (see product page for details).

However, please note that free delivery is unavailable in certain parts of the UK, such as offshore locations and the Scottish Highlands, due to additional courier costs. For these areas are automatically calculated during the checkout phase by typing your delivery address. All of our products have estimated delivery times stated on the product page, and orders are delivered according to the level of service you require. Please note that delivery times and dates are estimates and we cannot guarantee delivery on specific dates.

We will make every effort to deliver your order within the specified time frame, but in the unlikely event of any delay, we will contact you to advise you of the situation and take instructions on how you would like us to proceed.

Please ensure that someone over the age of 18 is present to receive and sign for the delivery. If no one is available, we will leave details for rearranging delivery, and an additional handling charge may be applied for redelivery.

Please note that delivery personnel are unable to enter private residences due to insurance guidelines. If you would like your item left in a designated location and unsigned, please provide us with written confirmation, and the item will be left at your own risk.

We hope to make one single delivery wherever possible to minimise inconvenience, but please note that the longest lead time will apply to the whole order if it contains a mix of products with different delivery times.
